I'm so glad it expressed how you are feeling too - I think we share these experiences, and knowing we are not alone helps. I hope you find some reassuring words from the letter writing practice. 🌸
I listened, and I wrote my letter. It began as a letter from a dear friend and became one from my own heart. It made me aware that refusing help and support when I’m in need, or overwhelmed, can be hurtful to the giver, and ultimately makes me tireder and grumpier. I will remember that we all take turns to be givers and receivers since there is love and joy attached to both. I’m going to practise saying “yes please” instead of “no I can manage.”❤️
Wow, that's amazing, thank you for sharing. That could be transformational to all. I really hope that little seed is nurtured so it can blossom beautifully. 🌸
I absolutely love this “ I find something unfamiliar, there is a new found confidence that hasn’t yet found the words to express itself”. That confidence was always in there, just out of sight, waiting to be discovered. And now that you’ve spotted it, it can’t hide again!
I recognise that need to feel appreciated, respected, supported and valued. Strangely, however much the people in your life do offer appreciation, respect etc I wonder if it’s actually someone from our past that we desperately need that recognition from?
For me, it all comes back to working with the Inner Child and I suspect a large percentage of us need to do this.
As always, thankyou for baring your soul to us Anne, reminding us we are not alone on this journey ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you Gwen, I've shared it now, so it can't hide any more! This need to feel appreciated, respected, supported and valued comes from past experiences and my people pleasing ways - which I am trying to redirect. This message is a reminder to not let myself slip into those unhelpful habits, but instead nurture the new feeling of being worthy instead. I hope you will listen to, and nurture you inner whispers too. 🌸
I needed to read this today, thank you for articulating so much of what I’m feeling. I’m going to try your letter writing exercise later.

What amazing awareness you have about your own mind and all its movements
Thanks, I'm glad I am able to express it and share it in words, as I haven't always been able to do that.
